On Thursday, December 8th I attended the Massachusetts Conference for Women. This was an empowering event that featured female business owners, industry leaders, and community members. If you've never attended this conference before (this was my first time), it is absolutely an event you don't want to miss! Aside from the incredible networking opportunities, it left me with a lot of valuable takeaways. The 2017 Conference will take place on December 7th at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, so stay tuned!

On Wednesday, December 7th I attended the Opening Night of the Massachusetts Conference for Women. I strolled around the booths, enjoying the quiet of the event space that allowed me to get close + personal with small business owners, female entrepreneurs, and guest speakers. The one I found myself most struck by was Glennon Doyle Melton, a New York Times best sellar, Oprah Book Club member, and a kickass activist + philanthropist. As she shared her story I found myself so caught up in her messages around authenticity. Make sure to check her out.

If you're a small business owner who manages a lot of your own accounting, then you need to check out Wave. Started in 2010, this industry-changing application emerged with one simple focus: free, easy online accounting software for small businesses. This site enables freelancers to manage the money side of their business effortlessly and without confusion, perfect for anyone who doesn't excel in this area. Since it's inception, the platform has grown into something that can handle a small business's accounting, credit card processing, payroll, receipt scanning, lending and more. Whether you are a new business or an existing one, this is definitely worth looking into for all your money management needs.
