Each month we invest a portion of our proceeds into nonprofit organizations working to create an impact in their communities. In honor of March being Women’s History Month, we have picked two Massachusetts based nonprofits that were both founded by women from the Greater Boston area.
Cambridge women’s center
The Cambridge Women’s Center is the oldest women’s center in the United States. Founded in 1971, it provides a supportive community space for all women by offering opportunities for empowerment, learning, healing, trauma support, and understanding.
Boston Art & Music Soul (BAMS) Fest is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization that strives to break down racial and social barriers to arts, music, and culture for marginalized communities of color across Greater Boston. Our goals are to create a diverse and inclusive commonplace for Greater Boston' recording, performing and visual artists of color, to use their artistic talents in a manner that changes societal perception, and empowers and engages audiences of color to convene.
